Michael Fassbender was reportedly left "bemused" when a fan, unable to contain her excitement, vomited after seeing him.

The Hollywood star currently resides in East London, and his presence has caused a wave of excitement amongst fans in the area.

A girl in one of his local public houses was so star struck, she reportedly vomited right by his feet.

"Since Michael has been talking about how he lives in Hackney loads of girls have been hanging around the area in the hope of catching a glimpse of him," an eye-witness told British newspaper The Sun.

"He was a bit bemused by his latest encounter but brushed off the vomit and played it cool.

"He used to be a barman so he's no stranger to mopping up some sick."

The hysterical fan is just one female in a long line of Michael's admirers. The hunk has seen his profile rise since appearing in a range of Hollywood movies including X-Men: First Class, A Dangerous Method and Shame.

The 34-year-old star recently discussed his attitude to striking up a romance with a lady.

"It's very difficult to maintain a relationship doing this kind of job. I know people do manage to maintain marriages and relationships within it, but I'm pretty selfish in terms of how I work and the time I take," he said.
