Michelle Pfeiffer: I'd love to be Catwoman again

18th June 2012

Michelle Pfeiffer says she would be open to donning her Catwoman costume again if she was ever asked.

The 54-year-old actress, who is still in amazing shape, played the comic book villainess and squeezed into the tight black outfit in 1992 film Batman Returns.

And although Anne Hathaway, 29, has reprised the role for The Dark Knight Rises, Michelle told E! News that she would not turn down the opportunity to get back into the unforgiving catsuit.

"Probably, if they asked me," the blonde beauty said. "It's unlikely that they're going to ask me."

Michelle recalled having to get into the gear which would become "vacuum-packed" to her lithe body.

"It was probably really unhealthy and it would literally just start to squeeze my skin," she said. "I was only allowed to wear it for so many hours."

But ever gracious, Michelle only had great things to say about Anne's turn as the feline character in the upcoming movie.

"She looks fantastic," the Scarface star gushed. "She looks great."

The Dark Knight Rises hits theatres on 20 July 2012.
