(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Michelle Williams admits she is always a wreck before she starts shooting a film.

The 30-year-old American actress is known for her critically acclaimed roles in hit movies such as Brokeback Mountain, Shutter Island and Blue Valentine.

This year Michelle will appear on the big screen portraying late Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe in My Week with Marilyn, and she admits she got incredibly nervous before shooting began, as she always does.

Its horrible! she exclaimed.

Every time before I work I have a crisis of faith. I think they should get someone else. Im a wreck. I start to deteriorate and then the job starts and everything is OK!

Michelle is mother to five-year-old Matilda, her daughter with the late Hollywood actor Heath Ledger. The pair had split when the little girl was two, and in 2008 Heath tragically died following an accidental overdose of prescription drugs. Michelle has spoken in the past of the pain she endured, and the struggles she has as a single mother. The actress is proud of the way she has managed to juggle a successful career with motherhood though.

Shes always with me, the actress told Total Film.

Its a balance and a struggle and its something Im asking more questions about. My goal is to work in the summer and give her the continuity of a school year. Its a balance thing. There will be a period of time when its hanging in favour of my work and there will be another more meaningful period of time when the balance is hanging with my daughter.

Learning to live with that imbalance is difficult. And probably very difficult for her. (C) Cover Media
