Mila Kunis: I was never a child star

28th July 2012

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Mila Kunis can imagine "falling apart" if she'd been a child star.

Although the actress started learning her craft when she was a little girl, she doesn't see herself as a typical young star. Mila has a great deal of empathy for people who are thrust into the Hollywood world at a tender age.

"The good thing is, I was never a child star and I'm not a star now. If you're ten years old and this thing happens to you and you haven't asked for it and you don't understand it, you tend to fall apart a little," she told Heat magazine.

Mila is grateful to her parents for allowing her to act without pushing her. When she was growing up she can remember worrying about normal things, such as friends and afternoon activities.

"For a child star, everything is through a fish bowl," she said. "I'm so lucky I didn't have to go through it. I was never pushed to do this. My parents always let me make the decisions; they never forced me into anything. And now, I mean, I'm not Brad Pitt. I can walk down the street and everything's cool." (C) Cover Media
