Mila Kunis is "too lazy" to hide any aspect of her personality.
The actress sometimes worries she is too outspoken for Hollywood, especially when she sees other people in the industry watching what they say. As she's got older, the 28-year-old has realised her way of doing things is actually much better because she is being honest.
Mila added some stars are entirely different to their public perception in real life.
"There's a part of me that wants to be like everybody else and just adopt a persona that I think people would like. But I am who I am; I'm too lazy to try to be something that I'm not and that's the truth. Otherwise I would be perfect and sweet and ladylike and all the things that I want people to perceive me as. You lose all sense of yourself in that process, though," she told the latest edition of UK magazine Elle. "All these actresses constantly playing the part of themselves they end up forgetting who they really are. I didn't realise how many people go on talk shows and act a certain way, then you meet them and you're like, What?' As though it's two different people, day and night aren't you just exhausted doing that for a living?"
Mila added she can't see any reason why people want to put on airs and graces just to become famous. For her, being recognised in the street and followed by photographers is the part of the job she actively dislikes.
"I want someone to tell me why I should play the game. I would get where I want to be faster and easier but I think I would lose all respect for myself and I would lose all sense of reality. What's the point of doing that?" she queried.
"To try and play the game makes no sense to me because I don't even understand what the hell the game is. Why bother?"
