All arrangements for Soundarya's ( the younger daughter of Rajinikant) Sunday visit to Tirumala, were taken care of by veteran Telugu actor Mohanbabu, who is a very close friend to the Tamil top actor. Accompanied by her husband Ashwin, Soundarya came to the Lord Venkateswara Temple on Tirumala hills on Sunday morning and offered prayers to the Almighty.

"I came here to express my gratitude to Lord Venkateswara for the speedy recovery of my father," she said. Remember Rajinikanth returned Chennai a couple of weeks ago, after successfully undergoing treatment for a kidney-related ailment in Singapore.

Soundarya runs Ocher Studios, whose maiden production venture was Venkat Prabhu directed film 'Goa'. She is currently the executive producer of 'Rana', which is the Superstar's forthcoming film, directed by K S Ravikumar.

Expecting Rajini's arrival to Tirupati, a large number of his fans thronged the temple town. On coming to know that the matinee idol's daughter only was there, they met her and conveyed their greetings to Rajinikanth.
