Rishi Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu starrer 'Mulk' is a film based on a story of a small-town family from India which is surrounded by legal controversy is currently under making. While Taapsee just dropped an intense look from the film that features Rishi as Maulana old man and Taapsee as a lawyer seen in a courtroom sequence from the film.

The 30-year-old took the moment to Instagram sharing and captioned it ''एक बार फिर अदालत होगी, कटघरा होगा, एक परिवार होगा, एक मानसिकता होगी और विरोध होगा। perhaps the most relevant topic of current time #Mulk ‬और हाँ ..... रमज़ान मुबारक :) ‬ ‪- Aarti ‬ ‪(पूरा नाम जानने के लिए मिलिए cinema घर में 27th July 2018 को..... इन्तज़ार रहेगा)." 

Rishi had earlier said, "I have not done drama in a long time and when Anubhav narrated the film to me, I loved the concept of the film. Shooting in Benaras and Lucknow will be an added bonus since I have heard such great stories about the cities."

Neena Gupta will essay the role of Rishi Kapoor's wife in the film. Speaking about the film she said, "Mulk is a phenomenal film and I’m quite excited to be a part of this experimental film." 

The film also stars Prateik Babbar, Rajat Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana and Manoj Pahwa in pivotal roles.
