Recently A.R.Murugadoss spoke his heart out at an event. He revealed that Ajith played a major role in shaping his career. The director said that with his simple appearance and casual approach people in north still find it very difficult to believe that he is a director let alone a successful one. 

“Just imagine how I would have been 10 years ago. But Ajith didn’t say no to me. We did Dheena then, now I am here with my seventh film to come soon. He is the reason for what I’m now,” expressed Murugadoss who has directed hit films like '7aam Arivu' and 'Ghajini'. 

The director is now working with superstar Vijay on his next venture 'Thuppakki'. “It took me 6 films to work with Vijay. To me he is a very good friend. He never talks anything other than films to others. But with me, he doesn’t hesitate speaking personally. Actually, I’m enjoying his company” Murugadoss further said.
