August 14, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): In the news that would make metal heads from around the world happy, Dave Mustaine's biography simply entitled Mustaine: A Heavy Metal Memoir has reached the number 15 on The New York Times Bestseller List, according to Megadeth's official website.

The book has reached the 15th spot especially on the 'Hardcover Nonfiction' chart. The book was released in the USA by Harper Collins via their It Books imprint on August 3. Its British version has a slightly different name and it's called Mustaine: A Life in Metal. The UK edition would soon be available in many stores in the UK on September 30 this year.

Dave Mustaine, the iconic Megadeth front man, seems to have an unlimited quantity of energy, as he is seen promoting his memoir, even as he embarks on the initial leg of the awesome American Carnage Tour alongside other thrash legends like Slayer and Testament.

Megadeth is at present playing their 1990 ground breaking album 'Rust in Peace' in its entirety, while Slayer is ripping through their 'Seasons in the Abyss' album that was also released in 1990.

These two thrash metal icons would soon start the second leg of 'American Carnage Tour' along with Anthrax. These three along with Metallica represent the 'Big Four of Thrash'.
