Namitha started her acting career in Tollywood, before she made it big in Kollywood. Now that her popularity in Tamil cinema is not as good as it used to be earlier, the actress is expected to start a fresh innings in Telugu.

One of her Tamil movies, titled Indira Vizha, is getting dubbed into Telugu as Midatha. The film has Namitha playing a sensuous role and there are some steamy scenes on her and protagonist Sriram.

The producer who has bagged the Telugu dubbing and release rights fo the movie is said to be happy about Midatha doing good in the box office, given Namitha's popularity in Andhra Pradesh and her glamour in the film.

The latest buzz about the actress was that she would marry an advocate and settle down in Mumbai. However, she denied it and said the lawyer in question was her father's friend.
