The American actress and her partner Benjamin Millepied have announced they are set to marry, and also took the opportunity to reveal she is expecting their first child together.

The baby is due next year, although no other details have been released. The couple confirmed the news to People via a representative.

Natalie and Benjamin began dating after they met on the set of her movie Black Swan. She plays a ballerina in the film, and choreographer Benjamin was brought on board to help her learn the routines.

The 29-year-old actress performance in Black Swan has been lauded by critics, and earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination. The movie is also expected to feature heavily when the Oscars shortlist are announced. (C) Cover Media
