(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Nick Cannon spent his wife Mariah Careys baby shower running around and taking photographs.

The couple are expecting twins, and have announced the babies will be a boy and a girl. Mariah is expected to give birth fairly soon, and on Sunday a party to celebrate the tots was held for her at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills.

Nick was in attendance, and spent the event doting on his wife. The couples friend Stefano Zagni who works with Mariah has spoken of how fun the event was, and how much Mariah and Nick are looking forward to having a family.

During the baby shower Nick was running around with his camera taking lots of pictures but every two or three minutes he would go over to check on Mariah and see if she was OK. He dotes on her. They completely adore each other and are so much in love, Stefano told RadarOnline.com.

I just think theyre going to be the perfect family. I really do. I think theyre going to make great parents. Theyre going to be very loving and hands-on. Mariahs doing very well. I hadnt seen her for a few months but she looks absolutely stunning. She was glowing and very happy and in good spirits.

Mariah, 41, and 30-year-old Nick have released a photograph from the party, in which Mariah is seen relaxing on a chair and smiling while her husband caresses her baby bump. She looks fresh-faced and happy in a tropical-print dress, while Nick is grinning widely and wearing a dapper suit.

The couple received many gifts during the party, including a pair of almost life-sized toy giraffes and matching handmade chairs.

It was a very nice festive lovely event, Stefano said. Full of beautiful balloons and lots of gifts from friends and family. A very classy nice event for a couple of hours.
