(Cover) - EN Star Style - Nicole Richie has revealed her hairdresser chopped her locks without permission.

The last time Nicole went to get a trim she suggested she would like to lose her long locks one day, although was surprised when her stylist Andy went for the chop there and then.

Nicole famously boasted long luscious tresses for a lengthy period, although her new shorter look gives her a fresh-faced appearance and enhances her elfin features.

I actually was just in my hairdresser's chair - he is a very good friend of mine - and I said, 'I'm thinking of cutting my hair short. I need a trim right now but I'm definitely thinking I want to cut it all off,'" revealed Nicole.

"Then I looked down at my phone, looked back up and my hair was gone. I said, 'Andy! What did you do?'

Nicoles hairstylist understands how indecisive she can be when it comes to her appearance, so he decided to make the decision for her. The beautiful star is happy to experiment with her locks, and doesnt fret about hairstyles as she knows her tresses will always grow back, or she can even opt for extensions like many female celebrities do.

He said, 'You were going to call me 45 times about it and I just don't have the time to take your manic phone calls so I did it and if you don't like it, don't worry, you can get extensions.' And he's right. It's fun, it's just hair and it's a different look. But lucky for him I like it!"she laughed. (C) Cover Media
