(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Noel Gallagher is finding performances with his new band "enjoyable".
Noel left his former rock group Oasis in 2009.
He is now touring across the UK with his new band Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds to promote their eponymous album.
The British musician has found taking to the stage without his former bandmates - which include his brother Liam Gallagher - to be a pleasant experience so far.
"On to London for three shows on three consecutive nights at three different venues. The first being the Hammersmith Apollo. I liked it. It was easy. Maybe a little too easy," Noel wrote in his blog on the Huffington Post.
"I have to say I thought it'd take a lot longer to get everything up to speed. It's already become very enjoyable and we've only done six gigs."
Noel's new album debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart last month. With his record receiving such great commercial success, Noel is in a celebratory mood.
"[We] took over a small but perfectly formed nightclub in the West End. We were asked to leave at the crack of dawn with a 7k bar bill!!!!! (sic)" he recounted about a recent post-gig after party at a bar.
"A proper good effort that. Needless to say the last 2 days have been spent on the verge of a nervous breakdown. All good though and it was well worth it." (C) Cover Media
