Ekta Kapoor’s latest film ‘The Dirty Picture’ is taking more sacrifices from its lead star Vidya Balan. After she readily agreed to shed her ‘desi’ avatar to don the ultra glamorous sexy siren character in the film, she was asked to gain weight, do explicit love making scenes and sport skimpy outfits as per the script’s demand.

In spite of adding oodles of weight to her already heavy body, she had to use additional prosthetics on her body parts including her face to resemble the film’s inspiration model ‘Silk Smitha’. However when she was required to shoot for some final portions of the film in the hot and humid weather of Mumbai, she had to spend more time in her make up room than acting.

Due to the heat during the day time, her prosthetics started to melt off her face and body. This required her to again go through the hour long make up session after every few takes.

Moreover due to the continuation in weather pattern, this has almost become a regular routine for poor Vidya who is not only going though a tiring shooting schedule but is also spending hours in her make up room.
