Pandiraj, the National Award winning filmmaker of 'Pasanga' fame, has denied allegations that his last directorial venture 'Marina' was not actually produced by him.
In a statement, he said, 'For the past few days several rumours about me are doing the rounds. But I maintained silence as per my advocate's advice. 'Pasanga Productions' is my banner that has been registered properly with the Tamil Film Producers Council.'
He said, 'P Sambasivam who worked as a manager with me misused the rights I gave him and stole my company's voucher pad and did false transactions. Today a false case has been filed against me, stating that I am not the producer of 'Marina'. Sambasivam and Balamurugan are spreading false news about this whole issue now.'
The filmmaker added, 'Hundreds of people worked for 'Marina' and everybody is aware of the truth, in fact even children will laugh at what these two have done now. There's a land grabbing case against Balamurugan and Sambasivam once cheated an assistant director and I also have proofs related to their cases.'
Well, we hope the alleagations on the director are proven wrong.
