The 29-year-old hotel heiress has had a tumultuous year so far. Last week she pleaded guilty to cocaine possession after being arrested in Las Vegas last month. In July she was arrested after she was accused of smoking marijuana at a soccer game at the FIFA World Cup in South Africa, and she was also arrested and detained at an airport in Corsica two weeks later for possession of marijuana. Both cases were subsequently dropped.

The socialites friends and younger sister Nicky are said to be worried about her, and have questioned whether her new boyfriend Cy Waits could be a bad influence on her.

Nothing has gone right for her since shes been with Cy. It seems to have been constant bad luck and its literally been one thing after another. Her friends and her sister Nicky are pleading with her to slow down, to stop focusing on Cy and to spend time looking after herself, a source told More! magazine. They think she was happier all round and had much better luck when she was single.

Paris was with 34-year-old nightclub manager Cy at the time of her arrest for cocaine possession in August, and he was charged with driving under the influence.

Meanwhile, Paris is believed to have decided to quit partying and try to maintain a low-profile. After narrowly avoiding going to jail, Paris has decided to get her life back on track and spend her spare time at home with Cy.

"The days of Paris going out to clubs are done, a source told RadarOnline.com. Paris much prefers staying home with her boyfriend and watching movies.
