(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Phil Collins still loves his ex-wife, and “doesn’t know why” they got divorced.

The musician has been wed three times. He married his third wife Orianne Cevey in 1999, but the union ended in divorce in January 2007. The pair have two sons together, and are still good friends.

Phil insists much of what has been written about his love life is untrue, explaining he still has feelings for Orianne. “To be very honest, Orianne and I still love each other and I don't actually know why we got divorced. We are still friends. Orianne has a new boyfriend, actually she's married,” he told the British edition of Hello! magazine. “But it's still the case that when Orianne has problems, she calls me. Or when she has an argument with her husband, she calls me. Really, she does that. A shared life doesn't have to be over just because you split up.”

Phil also dismissed rumours he ended his relationship with his second wife, Jill Taverman, via fax. He has daughter a daughter with Jill and raises two kids with his first wife Andrea Bertorelli, explaining he is on friendly terms with all his former partners but probably won’t tie the knot again.

“I get on well with all three of my ex-wives,” he told the publication. (C) Cover Media
