Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma, who are promoting their upcoming film 'PK' across India, have asked for swift conviction in the rape cases happening in our nation.

The stars believe a quick judgment would help reduce crime happening in the society.

"Right now as the way things are, the rate of rate of conviction is low and the process of justice takes very long. In the case of crime against women and children, conviction should be certain and swift. And at the same time we should also work on the mindset of people. On how we think," Aamir said.

"It is sad that even after 2 years of Nirbhaya incident happening, another such incident has happened. Conviction rate should be fast so that people begin to fear," Anushka said.
