Priya Anand, the leading lady in movies like 'Leader' and 'Vaamanan', is now going to be a part of PETA. PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is the largest animal rights organization in the world, with more than three million members.

A source revealed that Priya will be focusing on caged birds. A photo shoot will take place soon for the same. Apart from this Anand was also selected as the ambassador for Save the Children Campaign for both Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh in June 2011.

Priya is expected to appear in a Bollywood film 'English Vinglish' and a Tamil Film 'Ethir Neechal' this year.
