Bollywood Superstar Ranbir Kapoor is on a wish list of all the filmmakers and Prakash Jha is no different.
Prakash gave Ranbir one of the biggest hits 'Raajneeti' in the early stage of his career which got him much critical acclaim.
As Ranbir owes him a lot, it is more or less an obligation for him to be a part of the sequel of the same film.
Prakash Jha plans to start 'Raajneeti 2' as soon as possible, but considering that Ranbir is busy with major films this year he has pushed it for next year.
"I am going to make Raajneeti 2 next year as Ranbir is shooting for Anurag Kashyap's and Anurag Basu's films as of now. As soon as he finishes them, he will start work on Imtiaz Ali's next, followed by Ayan Mukerji's film in the second half of the year. He hardly has any dates to accommodate other films in 2014," said Jha.
Meanwhile, Jha who is participating in upcoming general elections as he is contesting from the West Champaran constituency of Bihar claims that he too is busy for any new film. He is busy with elections and another film that he will start in the latter half of the year.
"This year, I am doing a film on society's relationship with the cops. We are in very early stages, so I can't say much about the project but I am scheduled to shoot in October," he added.
