Rachel is best known for being the stylist behind some of Americas biggest fashion icons, such as Nicole Richie and Mischa Barton.

The style guru says although she likes simplistic pieces, her favourite garment for this season is a pair of sparkly slacks as they brighten up any outfit.

True to my wandering fashion mind, this fall will find me dabbling in styles on every end of the spectrum. For instance, I may love the look of understated black trousers one day, only to find myself obsessing over focus-stealing sequin bottoms the next, wrote the star on her website.

Rachels favourite pair of gold trousers comes from American retailer Sachin + Babi, which she says would look perfect teamed with heels and some glittery make-up.

On your next night out, pair Sachin + Babis bronzed bottoms with a body-con one piece, wedges and gold eyeliner, suggested Rachel.

Rachel particularly loves the Sachin + Babi pair because they have a casual cropped fit but a smart and flattering high waist. The stylist offers a useful piece of advice too, warning her fans that too much sparkle can be avoided by keeping jewellery simple.
