22nd September 2010

September 22, 2010 (Sampurn Wire) : Rahul Bose is a very busy man and when he is not acting he is involved in NGO activities, sports and so many other things that it makes Barrack Obama look lazy. The actor has just delivered lectures to students on 'gender discrimination' and now he is off to New York for the premiere of his new film. The former captain of the Indian National Rugby team recently participated in the reality TV show KKK3 and now he is ready for the release of his upcoming movies.

Speaking about his Bengali films 'Antaheen' and 'Kaalpurush' winning National Awards the actor said that he loves acting in Bengali films. His recent Bengali film 'The Japanese Wife' won a lot of critical acclaim but bombed at the box office. Rahul is saddened that the movie was not a commercial success but he considers 'The Japanese Wife' amongst his best performances so far.

When asked about his love for Bengali film industry, the actor said that he likes doing an occasional Bengali film from time to time because they have unique scripts. The actor said that he wishes to don the director's cap once more in the near future as he wants to do a film on Mohsin Hamid's 'Moth Smoke'. We hope the Bengali audience will be able to see Rahul in some more Bengali films by next year.
