He is now urging the youngsters across the country to fight against corruption. The movement encourages writers, poets and all to raise awareness against corruption by making films, scripts, etc.

Rajamouli invited everyone by posting a messge on his microblogging site stating, "We al know corruption is the largest issue plaguing india's growth in all fronts.join the surajyam movement by making shortfilms,skits,slogans etc against corruption and send them for competition."

The director has always been a supporter of anti-corruption, and has always been a part of the steps taken towards stabilizing the economy in a better way.
