'Aiyaary' actress Rakul Preet Singh is roped in to play a larger than life role of legendary late actress Sridevi in NTR biopic. While the audiences curiously wait for her first look from the film, the actress herself released it via her official Instagram handle.

Sporting a white bindi with the minimum of jewellery Rakul is seen donning a white traditional embroidery saree which makes her look perfect. She captioned her pic,"Presenting first look of #sridevigaru in #ntrbiopic !! hope you like it !" The nose piercing adds the South Indian touch to her character making it quite authentic. 

NTR and Sridevi had worked together in 14 films. Rakul's role in the NTR biopic is a cameo with a song and a few scenes. In a recent interview with Times Of India, Rakul shared her excitement of playing Sridevi on the big screen. She said, "This is going to be the most challenging character I’ve played so far because Srideviji is a legend. She was and is still loved by millions. I have been a big fan and recreating the diva on screen for the first time is a big responsibility. I hope I can do justice to it. The makers have full faith in me and I hope I can live up to it."
