Sources on the sets of Department have been going the whole hog saying Rana and Lakshmi are close with each other, while working together for the movie.

Rana plays a cop out to exterminate the Mumbai gangland in the ’90s and Lakshmi plays his love interest in the movie.

"Both share a good rapport with each other and their bonding are visible on the sets. Their chemistry is adding more value to Department," sources say.

Meanwhile, Anjana Sukhani has also joined the cast of Department as she has replaced Kangna Ranaut in the film. Anjana will now be cast opposite Sanjay Dutt as the actor was reportedly not comfortable romancing Kangna in the film.
