Ranbir Kapoor has been super busy with the promotion of his forthcoming film 'Bombay Velvet' where he plays the lead role of the character, Johnny Balraj.

At a recent promotional event for the film, Ranbir was asked for his opinion about the trending #SalmanVerdict. Ranbir and Salman Khan are in rival terms as Ranbir's ladylove, Katrina Kaif once dated Salman but the issue did not urge him to evade the question but Ranbir spoke the positive and rationalistic side of Salman citing humanitarian grounds.

Ranbir expressed, "We are nobody to challenge the law or speak anything about it. I have personally known Salman Khan for years. He is one of the greatest human beings. He is a great person. He has helped so many people through his foundation and beyond that. He has done tremendous work for the society so instead of making a comment on the verdict we should be inspired by the work he has done."
