'Highway' actor, Randeep Hooda is roped in to play Sarabjit in Omung Kumar's Sarabjit's biopic where Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will play his onscreen sister, Dalbir Kaur.

Sarabjit, a farmer who mistakenly crossed Pakistan border was taken as an Indian spy, he was given capital punishment  in 1991.He was then killed by inmates in a jail a few days after the death of Afzal Guru in India.

The story revolves around Dalbir's long failed struggle to rescue her brother. Omung Kumar's last directorial debut was 'Mary Kom' starring Priyanka Chopra.
