It is very easy for Bollywood stars to find themselves in camps. And even before they realise, their fondness for specific people puts them in awkward situations which often place them against others in the industry, with no fault of their own.
And this is exactly the case with Ranveer Singh, whose motormouth has yet again landed him in a controversy.
Ranveer, who is currently the poster boy for Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's films, recently defended him when Salman Khan criticised the filmmaker for being temperamental.
When Salman along with filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya shot for a promotional video on the eve of their film 'Hum Aapke Hain Kaun' (HAHK) completing 20 years, he went ahead to exclaim that Sanjay needs a lesson or two from the 'HAHK' director.
Salman, who has worked with SLB in the past, stated that often the filmmaker loses his cool on sets and ends up yelling at the staff. For this, he suggested that he should learn from Sooraj who is calm on the sets.
While this comment didn't get any response from Bhansali, his current protégé Ranveer, without taking any names answered the question and criticism that came from Salman.
In Ranveer's opinion, every creative person is temperamental, which is why he says that he fails to understand why only SLB is being singled out.
"Creative people have the tendency to be temperamental because they function from a place of emotions. Everyone does that so I don't understand why people single him out," he said.
He further added that he has never had such an experience with SLB, in fact, he claims that the director spoils him to the core.
"He spoils me like a little kid. I have no idea what experiences other actors have had. What I do know is that he is famous for getting the best performances from his actors," Ranveer added.
