It's a privilege to have the legendary music maestro, A R Rehman compose for a film, and this dream has come true for Kannada film maker. P C Sriram, as his film, 'God Father', will have six original tracks composed by the Oscar winning Rehman.

Rehman, in the early days of his career, had composed music for quite a few Kannada films and had later gone on to become the top composer for south Indian and Hindi films and then, there was no stopping for him.

The Kannada film, 'God Father', is the remake of Tamil film, 'Varalaru', that boasted of nine tracks by the music maestro - all chart-toppers. Sriram, the director, of the Kannada film, was the prime camera person for the original Tamil version.
