Reports of Aamir Khan turning down Farhan Akhtar's film due to creative differences and script issues were floating in the media for quite some time now.

However, a source revealed, the reason was remuneration. Aamir is one of those actors, who enjoy profit share in their films, thus he was heard asking for 80% of profit share.

This didn't go down well with Farhan, as he felt it was almost like giving away the entire profit share to the actor.

Aware about this fact, Farhan had already offered him a specific profit share, but when the actor asked for 80% of it, things went haywire and the deal failed.
