January 10, 2011 (Sampurn Wire): Barbadian R&B singer Rihanna has done, what one of the most popular American singers of the 20th century, Elvis Presley did, way back in the 1950s. The official UK Chart Company has revealed that she is the only singer to have produced five number one singles in five consecutive years after Elvis. The super hot, talented and sexy singer took the British Pop chart by storm with her new song, What's My Name. Her track kicked X Factor champion Matt Cardle's When We Collide, straight off to number two. The album named Loud is itself on top at the top of the new album countdown.
Two of her other tracks named, "Only Girl (In the World)," and "Who's That Chick" are still hovering in the top ten as well. "The Time (Dirty Bit)" by Black Eyed Peas has found a place on the third spot. In the album charts, Plan B ("The Defamation of Strickland Banks") and Take That ("Progress") are giving tough competition to Rihannas Loud, but for the moment its still on top.
These days, Rihanna is hooking up with Nicki Minaj for a duet named Fly. It seems that the artists are getting along with each other pretty well. Riri posted a pic on her Twitter where the playful duo were having fun and clicking pictures of them together.
Rihanna Tweeted: "Me and Nikki in our new crib, lol! Gettin busy on set of FLY!!! And an hour later, Nicki was seen Tweeting "If we're gonna liv 2gthr and hook up u gotta learn how 2 spell my name! Lmaooooooo."
