Rihanna reportedly wants a role in a Scarface remake.

The classic Al Pacino movie is one of the Barbadian singer's favourite films. Rihanna would jump at the chance to appear in a new version of the movie and is eyeing the role of party girl Elvira Hancock, originally played by Michelle Pfeiffer.

"Rihanna loves Scarface. Some of her music videos have been based on Michelle's character, Elvira," a source told British newspaper The Sun.

"She knows all the words and even has her walk perfected."

Rihanna has reportedly spoken about the character Elvira, who she idolises for her "ridiculous swagger". No stranger to the party scene herself, the controversial star seems to be a natural for the role.

Universal Pictures are currently developing a reworking of the iconic 1983 movie. Their adaptation will be a reimagining of the plot focusing on a Tony Montana-style drug dealer operating in modern times.
