Rishi Kapoor lashes out at British Airways, read his tweet

13th August 2018

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor who was recently seen in Anubhav Sinha directorial 'Mulk', recently took a firm stand by lashing out at the British Airways and calling them racist. The tweet came after a misconduct of the staff case where an Indian family was asked to leave a London to Berlin flight as their child started crying made headlines.

Rishi even mentioned the misbehaviour of their staff and this was the only reason he stopped flying from the British Airways. His tweet read, ''Racist. Don't fly British Airways. We cannot be kicked around. Sad to hear about the Berlin child incident. I stopped flying BA after the cabin crew were rude and had the attitude not once but twice even after being a first class passenger. Fly Jetair or Emirates. There is dignity.''

While responding to the whole matter, British Airways said in a statement, "We are investigating the complaint and will liaise with our customer. It is a safety requirement for all airlines that passengers are seated and have their seat belt fastened for take-off."

Suresh Prabhu, the Civil Aviation Minister asked for a detailed report from the airline over the incident. On the work front, Rishi Kapoor will be next seen in Leena Yadav directorial 'Rajma Chawal'.
