January 8, 2011 (Sampurn Wire): Bengali film actress Rituparna Sengupta was recently spotted in Ajmer where she went to offer prayers to the Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishti shrine this week. In a statement to the media, Rituparna Sengupta said that she paid a visit to the holy shrine in order to seek blessings for the new year. It is not an unknown fact that the Sufi saints shrine located in Ajmer is one of the most religious places in the country and several celebrities have made it a point to seek the blessings of Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishti time and again. Rituparna Sengupta too prayed for a successful career ahead.

Confirming about her visit to the holy shrine, Rituparna Sengupta said that she has almost a dozen films hitting screens this year and therefore it was necessary for her to pray to god before the releases. While she is one of the most popular and also busiest faces in the Bengali film industry, her career in Bollywood has still not taken off that well. However, Rituparna Sengupta has appeared in a number of critically acclaimed ventures in Bollywood too.

Reports suggest that Rituparna Sengupta will become a mother this year and therefore the actress must have prayed for the well being of her new born too! Though Rituparna Sengupta remains tight lipped about her personal life, and she is still the most active lady in the Bengali film industry, her fans will always pray for the new member who will enter the family soon and also her husband and son.
