Robert Pattinson curious about ageing

5th May 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Robert Pattinson has been pondering how he will look in his senior years.

At only 24, the British actor is a long way from old age at the moment, although his new film Water for Elephants has made him wonder if he will grow old gracefully.

The star plays veterinary student Jacob in the romantic drama - which also stars Reese Witherspoon - and esteemed US actor Hal Holbrook portrayed Roberts character when he grows old.

Yeah definitely. Im curious as to whether that is what Im going to look like, he explained to UK Glamour when asked if it was surreal seeing Hal portray Old Jacob.

I love the fact that Hal...[stomach grumbles] my stomach will not shut up...that Hal is so in demand as an actor at [86 years old]. Its insane. Its an incredible life.

Robert would be thrilled to have such longevity in his career, although he isnt sure whether his acting life will endure the test of time. As much as he is passionate about the art, the heartthrob feels he may end up leading a bizarre existence.

I dont know, he mused when the publication asked if he hopes to act into his 80s.

Id love to be in demand for something. I just have a feeling that Im going to be one of those crazy old people that not even their own family want to see. (C) Cover Media
