(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Robert Pattinson feels bizarre when he's plays a character from his own country.
The 26-year-old movie star was born and raised in London, England.
British newspaper The Sun reports that Robert doesn't really like playing roles that require him to use his native tongue.
"I feel very naked with my British accent. I feel like I'm not really acting," he explained. "And also, English things aren't very good."
Robert, who is famed for his role as vampire Edward Cullen in the popular The Twilight Saga fantasy franchise, constantly wants to be challenged in his work.
The star has explained that after filming several Twilight instalments, he began to struggle with finding fresh angles for the big screen part.
"Playing the same part for a while, you just run out of ideas. I'm not trying to get away from it. You're screwing yourself, you're saying you think your work is s**t if you try and get away from it. And I never thought it was [s**t]. But I kind of got to the end of my inspiration. You get to the point where you're like, 'I don't want to do a film for a teen audience anymore'," he told UK magazine shortlist recently. (C) Cover Media
