(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Robert Pattinson has been linked to a role in The Hunger Games sequel.
The star is best known for playing vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight movies, and is now rumoured to be joining another popular teen franchise.
Speculation is rife that the British heartthrob could sign up to appear in Catching Fire, the follow-up to the hugely successful movie The Hunger Games.
Lionsgate are reportedly eager for Robert to play the role of Finnick Odair. The character is devastatingly handsome and was one of the youngest winners of the Hunger Games.
In Catching Fire, past Hunger Games champions are called upon to battle each other to the death in another challenging event the Quarter Quell.
If Robert does accept the role, he would be reunited with Francis Lawrence who directed him in Water for Elephants.
Other famous faces rumoured to be playing Finnick include Grey's Anatomy hunk Jesse Williams, Zac Efron, Chace Crawford and Robert's Twilight co-star Kellan Lutz.
Catching Fire - starring Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson - is scheduled to begin shooting in the fall and has a release date of November 2013. (C) Cover Media
