(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Robert Pattinson stunned a busking tramp by buying him a guitar.

The Hollywood heartthrob was in Los Angeles when he saw the musician strumming away on a battered guitar to make spare change. Robert is a keen music fan and decided to splash out on a new instrument for the man.

He was spotted leaving a music store with a new electric guitar for himself and a red acoustic instrument for the homeless guy.

"We were gobsmacked when he handed the acoustic guitar to the tramp," onlooker Luke Jones told British newspaper The Sun. "Robert quickly went back to his car and drove off."

Robert who plays piano and guitar left the tramp speechless with his kind act. Despite being a world famous actor, the recipient of his generosity failed to recognise him.

"The busker was totally shell-shocked. He had no idea who Robert was I think he thought the guitar was stolen," the source added. "He was looking left and right, half expecting the police to arrest him. We asked him to play but he couldn't get his thoughts together." (C) Cover Media
