(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Robert Pattinson has joked he is "a loser" for not having any plans on a Friday night.

The actor laughed at the fact he was available to give an interview at a time when other people head off on a night out. The Hollywood hunk is currently promoting his new movie Cosmopolis but found himself at a lose end at the beginning of the weekend on the UK leg of his promotional tour.

"[I'm] Good. Although I don't know why we're doing this [interview] at 9 o'clock at night on a Friday in London. It just shows how much of a loser I am! It's the one time I'm free" he told Total Film.

Robert also revealed that he has experienced a bit of a lull in his normally hectic movie schedule.

The 26-year-old said that although it appears like he has been working relentlessly, he hasn't actually been in front of a camera in almost a year.

"I inadvertently took a really long break. I didn't want to, but I haven't worked for 10 months I mean, not working on a film, I did other stuff, I didn't just sit there but I'll probably work for five years now. I really want to do something soon," he said. (C) Cover Media
