(Cover) - EN Star Style - Sadie Frost is naturally a tomboy and a scruff so she designs clothes to make her feel feminine.

The 45-year-old actress-and-fashion-designer runs her own clothing company called FrostFrench with friend Jemima French, and is considered a true British style icon.

Sadie insists she isnt naturally very feminine though, and so she uses her role as a designer to create more ladylike looks, which doesnt always come easily to her.

I love designing for my label, FrostFrench, but it's a job. I'm naturally a tomboy, a scruff, so I create clothes that make me feel more ladylike, such as high-waisted trousers or a 20s dress, she said.

Despite being considered an international sex symbol, Sadie insists shes actually very low maintenance and used to feel unattractive at the start of her career in the 90s.

The beauty admits worrying about her looks when she notices dry knees and dark circles under her eyes, although she has learnt not to get too hung up on minor details like that.

When I was younger I wasn't confident of my sexuality and I felt plain and inadequate. It was odd seeing photos of myself in the papers with everyone making comments, she told guardian.co.uk. But I care less about that now... There are days when I look at the state of my knees and elbows, or I look and feel tired. But you have to accept the way you are and make the most of it.
