Nawab Saif Ali Khan will be seen playing a chef in the Bollywood remake of Hollywood film 'Chef'. It will be produced by Alumbra Entertainment, Abundantia Entertainment and Eros International jointly.

Director of the Hollywood flick Jon Favreau said, "I'm delighted that Chef is getting an Indian remake. I'm excited to see how this personal film translates to the Indian culture. The theme of food, music and family should resonate well."

"Ever since I saw Chef, I knew that this film had to be made in India. Charming relationships, a feel-good story and a unique journey of self-discovery makes Chef the ideal film, which should be made in an Indian context. I am also delighted that one of the finest actors in our country, Saif Ali Khan, will play the title role in the Hindi version," said Vikram Malhotra founder of Abundantia Entertainment.

Film is about a professional chef, who quits his job from a popular restaurant as he can't comprise his creativity in his work and moves on to start a food truck with his son and buddies.
