4th October 2018

Shraddha Kapoor who was last seen in Shahid Kapoor starrer 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' as well as Rajkummar Rao starrer 'Stree' is busy prepping up for Saina Nehwal biopic. But unfortunately the 31-year old is diagnosed with dengue, thus the shoot for the film has gone on hold since 27th September.

A source close to the actor said, "Shraddha started feeling unwell a few days into the schedule. She stopped shooting on September 27 after a checkup revealed that she has dengue. She is expected to return to the film’s set in a couple of days. Meanwhile, Amole continues to shoot portions featuring the child actor who portrays the younger Saina, and other supporting artists."

Furthermore, confirming the news, producer Bhushan Kumar spoke to a leading daily that she is unwell due to her cramped up work schedule that took a toll on her health. He revealed that the team members are empathising with her situation and will confirm when Shraddha will get back to work.

The shoot of the film is delayed several times due to Shraddha's busy schedule. Apart from this biopic, Shraddha also has action heist 'Saaho' in the pipeline that features the Baahubali lead Prabhas. The Sania Nehwal biopic is helmed by Amole Gupte and Shraddha is receiving her coaching lesson from coach Pullela Gopichand.
