Filmmaker Sajid Khan roped in Bollywood's 'Dabangg' beauty Sonakshi Sinha for a sizzling special dance number in his upcoming film 'Himmatwala'. Titled 'Thank God it's Friday' (view video), the song has Sonakshi reprising a period style in a retro avatar and a disco backdrop.

Sajid was very impressed with Sonakshi's professional attitude on the sets while shooting for the song.

He recently expressed, "I wanted to work with her ever since I saw her in 'Dabangg'. I only work with people I like, and I was so impressed with Sonakshi's easy going 'tom boy' attitude and professional style of working that I will soon be casting her in my film in the near future."

While filmmakers are cashing in on her desi image, Sajid wants to break the mould and present Sonakshi in a 'never seen before' glamorous avatar. Sajid did the same when he gave her a glamorous makeover for the item number as well.

It remains to be seen if Sonakshi's makeover designed by Sajid helps her break the 'Indian girl-next-door' image.
