On the festive occasion of Makar Sankranti,
Salman Khan was seen spending his afternoon with BJP's prime ministerial candidate,
Narendra Modi.
The two enjoyed a sumptuous meal together as Modi tweeted, "Having Undhiyu for lunch with Salman Khan. Undhiyu is a Gujarati delicacy and is a must-have during Uttarayan!". They then went on to fly kites.
While interacting with the press at Ahmedabad, when asked if Modi will win, Salman replied, "God will decide who is the best man for the country. May the best man win".
Notwithstanding persistent media queries about whether he backed Modi as next prime minister, the actor said, "I belong to the film line. I can clearly answer questions on films. On politics, because of my limited knowledge I will not be able to give clear answers. If I begin answering your quetions, I will get trapped."
