No matter in which part of the world he goes, he leaves a lasting impression on people there. The philanthropist Bollywood superstar Salman Khan who trotted the whole globe to shoot for his film 'Ek Tha Tiger' had shot for few key scenes in Mardin, Turkey where he now has a café named after him. This might be surprising to hear, but we'll tell you the story behind it.
As it was a long schedule, Salman along with his cast and crew hanged out at 'Cafe Del-Mar' in leisure time as there was no other place for the team to unwind on the foreign soil. But Salman being the hyper active star instilled a few changes in the café according to his preferences and choices. After visiting the café for a few times, he felt that the eatery needed a makeover and when he made suggestions he made sure that the changes were there to stay. He offered changes in the décor, music, food and beverage menu. And after every suggestion was implemented, the people started calling 'Cafe Del-Mar' as the 'Salman Khan café'.
Film's director Kabir Khan who visited the café with his 'Tiger' every day, witnessed the whole process and revealed how it all started, "In Mardin, this cafe was our only hangout. The music system wasn't very good, so Salman sent someone to get a better one. He installed it at the café, played new music and, after the shoot, left the sound system there," said Kabir.
Well, we don’t call him the gold-hearted star for nothing!!!
