Salman Khan hit-and-run case: Police trace missing documents

Salman Khan's hit-and-run case has been in the limelight ever since the incident took place in 2002.

The case was once again in the spotlight when papers related to the case went missing last week. The sessions court had criticised the police over the same.

However, Deputy commissioner of police, Zone IX, Satyanarayan Choudhary has now revealed that the missing papers have been retrieved during a thorough search which was going on since the past four days.

The documents will now be submitted to the court on September 12 and the hearing will be conducted the next day.

Though no specify details of the recovered documents have been shared, the prosecution had earlier informed the court that the case diary had gone missing, in addition to 56 of the 63 case-related documents.
