Every year Forbes come up with the list of top earning celebrities and this year too it has revealed its list. While superstar Shah Rukh Khan has topped the list in the year 2015, it is now Salman Khan who has bagged the baadshah's throne by donning the No.1 position.
Salman topped the list of Forbes top earning celebrities with a total earnings of Rs. 270.33 crores. SRK came to number 2 position with the total earnings of Rs. 221.75 crores. The third position is bagged by Virat Kohli (134.44 crores), Akshay Kumar ( 203.03 crores) and Mahendra Singh Dhoni(122.48 crores).
Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone is at number 6 position (69.75 crores) followed by Sachin Tendulkar, Priyanka Chopra, Amitabh Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan at 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th position respectively. The ranking is based on two parameters viz. estimates of entertainment-related earnings and estimates of fame during the period October 2015 to September 2016.
Salman Khan's 'Sultan' made the highest box-office collection this year and is even tagged as the highest earning film of 2016. Even Salman's 2015 film 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' pocketed a good amount of collection.
