Salman Khan's trial delayed again!

Actor Salman Khan's September 28, 2002 hit-and-run case was delayed once again after four prosecution witnesses failed to appear in court.

Salman, accompanied by his bodyguard and sister had come to court for the identification procedure. But as the date was deffered again, the actor left as soon as the court announced the next date of hearing.

According to sources, the witnesses who were injured in the accident have left the city and the address in their native is unknown.

The court asked the prosecution to examine other witnesses for hearing on April 23, however, the date was further pushed to April 28 due to the Lok Sabha elections.

Sessions Judge DW Deshpande has asked the prosecution to produce on April 28 the first witness who was injured in the mishap in which the actor was involved, followed by eye witnesses in May.

This is the second occasion when the fresh trial has not begun. On March 26, three witnesses failed to turn up as they were either not available or untraceable.
