Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was the only one star who was repeated as the host on the controversial show 'Bigg Boss'. Before him, the show has been hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, Shilpa Shetty and Arshad Warsi who hosted one season each.

But Salman hosted not one or two but four seasons back to back. His association with the show benefitted the show a great deal but it also earned a lot of controversies.

Often Salman's comments and personal favourites created a lot of negativity around the show. And this reached it's peak with Salman engaging in war of words with one of the contestants.

This apparently went beyond the show. The makers expressed their disagreement with Salman getting judgemental and personal. They also reportedly asked Salman to tone it down.

But the negative reviews and restrictions didn't go down too well with Salman, who is famous for having his way always. And due to this disagreement, Salman has decided to quit the show.

The actor who is famous for expressing his feelings and views openly, was not ready to follow the producer's dictate and this proved to be the final nail in the coffin.  

Though Salman doesn't intend to return to the show, the makers are still clinging on hope and trying to figure out ways to get him back.
